Use the right tools
The local knife shop had a fixer-upper and I offered to have a go at getting it working. The aftermarket Ti screw set will not allow the knife to go back together properly so it was a pretty sloppy fit. This is the carnage inflicted by the owner attempting to install it. Pretty buggered up!
As well the screw specs were off so each screw was a different length. __________________ Mike

Just to add to this, be wary of these dress-up kits being sold online. This particular Ti kit will bring more frustration and is not a swap go 5 minute project. The knife will need to be refitted and if you want to install the stock parts it may not work since it was adjusted for the new fittings.
