Great knife, it looks like your mentor's mentor was RW Loveless.

Hello brad,
Think you hit the nail on the head there.
i feel my mentors/guiders are a few before i get to the Great RW Loveless.
Ian,Marcus Lin & David Sharp.
There are so many of you experts in the States i admire, i want to make a knife with each ones signature bits in..
Mind you i started a None Loveless Style knife yesterday, which is going to be totaly hand filed...a Bush knife.
Take care,
Brian

Thanks so much.
i know Ian gets as much pleasure out of watching my progress.
He has a smile on his face when he walks into the work shop...pretending not to look at my progress
Marcus emails every week when he can to pass on the tips and advice i need.
David gives me the guidance on what he and marcus learnt from the legend Bob Loveless at his shop, so i am lucky to have 3 of the top Loveless Style makers who are my heroes
thanks
Bri

Hello Rick,
I'm not sure if Ian mentioned i was at his for 2 weeks training.
I think ian finds the most pride in not seeing me make any old mistakes as he always says, attention to fit and finish.
I'm slowly getting there, but got a long way to go so pushing myself to the max m8.
He's a true friend and mentor.
thx pal
Bri
