any of those dates would work for me, but I probably won't know if I can make it until right before. Love to see things happening nearby, though, even if I can't always get to them.

Okay Guys the date is now set as May 3rd and 4th.

Carl , Deb and I are going to be in our camper this time, so we will be able to stay longer than just the w/e. Let me know if you plan on getting there sooner or staying after. I've never trout fished but I sure do love to eat 'em. Maybe you could show me the ropes.

Cool Chuck, Be glad to see you again. Be sure and ask Pat if he would like to come again.

Hey Hillbilly Chuck!
Glad to see you're still kicking. I was getting ready to get the dogs and my snow shoes and start a search. Looking forward to see you there. Getting any forge time in in this weather?

Mark,
I start my "new" part-time consulting job on Monday and will have to get my boss broke-in before I can commit to any extra days, but I'm pretty sure I can swing an extra day or two. I'll let you know when I'm sure.
Hmmm.........ropes.....never used them for trout, but I've always favored ultralites and flyrods. (just kidding) I haven't done a lot as of late but I'm sure we can find few close by. Just remember, light lines mean good drag systems.

Hey y'all,

It will be good seeing y'all again. I am having computer troubles right now which is why I am not talking much to anyone. I've not been doing any forging lately, the weather has been too cold to forge and I think I have seriously messed up my shoulder. Am still doing some cool knives though. I have several blades that I forged earlier that I still have to finish into knives so I still got stuff to work on. When the weather gets better I am gonna try doing the hammering with the other hand and see if that works. I put my tour of Sandy's shop to good use this winter and have been working on sheaths and other leather work. I like doing leather work almost as much as I like making knives.

Sorry to hear about your shoulder Chuck, I know how much of a pain that can be. Try some glucosamine sulfate. It does work. Take care of yourself brother.

Chuck,
Man that's a tough thing to heal. It's really hard to not use your dominant shoulder or arm. Sounds like you planned ahead anyhow. Sandy will be pleased to know you're doing some leather work. I'm sure we'll have plenty of supplies and equipment show up so travel light if you want.
Hey, might be a good time to start making miniatures (less strenuous but a bit more tedious). At any rate, take it easy and let it heal. My wife uses the stuff Mark mentioned and says it helps her quite a bit. I'm to stubborn myself. The pain reminds me that I'm still avlive.
Take care and we'll see you at the Rock.
