very nice work
your photos have a nice flair to them also.
Is this some of the steel your were talking about making yourself.
I like the skinning knife with the copper bolster, did you make
the copper to fit more like a (Habaki) on a japanese sword.

Thanks guys...

Yeah...that is a cold forged habaki fitted to the blade. Which was harder than I thought it would be.

And... no.. not home smelted steel yet. Although I have a bloom I'm starting to forge down. Those first two are san mai blades made with some extremely gnarly slaggy wrought I drug out of the woods. And there is a nickel foil layer in between.

I have been bitten...

I love that you leave the finish raw/unpolished. It adds so much character to the blade.

Extremely handsome blades, all around. The dagger #1, the Hawk and the Guarded Bowie are my faves, but all beautiful.
