trip hammer and anvils

I bought this 50 lb rip hammer and 2 anvils at an antique auction sale. Also picked up a few tongs, 3 old leg vices and an old cast iron tractor seat.

Don't tell him Jim. Remember you're supposed to be just holding the stuff for me. just kidding Ron. I'm afraid he'll say he paid the going rate for scrap.

Great haul Jim, Craig

i wish I could say I paid scrap price. I paid way to much for both anvils. I am still kicking myself for buying them. I like collecting anvils but I should have waited for better prices. I need an anvil in the 300lb range now and bigger than 586lbs.
I think i paid going price for the trip hammer.$3200.00

Thumbs up

Are planning on starting up a smithing school, Jim ?! Your next purchase should be a school bus to shuttle us dudes from the south to your place for classes

Nice score, indeed!
