THANKS FELLAS!!

Thanks to all who answered my question about heat treating the chisel blade....sorry for the slow come back but I been poundin out damascus left and right...hehe...Im sick with it!
lol. As for that blade made of the chisel, I done a triple quench in vegetable oil and then a triple temper at 350 for 2 hours. The blade passed the brass rod test and takes a razor edge and seems to hold up firly well. I was well pleased with my first attempt at knife making. I hope to get a pic of it up soon along with some other projects im working on. The Damascus Bug has bitten me hard and developed lock jaw. So far I have forged a drop point skinner from 4 chainsaw blades (but found some inclusions), another drop point from cable (learned how NOT to grind bevels on that one), and now...I have ,y first dagger forged from cable ground and ready for heat treat....only problem is that Im out of propane...lol...soon as I get more gas and finish this dagger up Ill get some pics of it on here. More later....thanks all.
