Three phase only VFD running on single phase 240

https://www.valinonline.com/products/esv152n02txb drive is listed as three phase only 2 HP. I want to use it to power a 3/4 HP 3 phase South Bend lathe. The literature says it will throw a drive fault for phase loss, is there a way to override this? I have not tried it yet due to wanting to do a capacitor re-form cycle on it first. Just looking for anyone with prior experience.
