Etching Ed's Damascus
I knew that that the pattern on the blade was good but it turned out to be awesome! I have been etching blades with muriatic ac## but dec##ed to ask Ed which way he found was best. He suggested using ferric chlor##e that was diluted 1 to 3 with distilled water and to leave the parts in for 1/2 hour, check it out, and go longer if necessary.I will now try to get some coloring onto the blade and bolsters.
