The new "Red E Hand Multi-Purpose Bench Vise" is great!
[FOLLOW-UP]
I have used this vise for a while and it is super! Solid, easy to use and minimal space is taken up on your bench. I waited a few days after I got it before attaching it to my work bench, then the more I looked at it, the more obvious it was that it didn't matter much were you put it, since it takes up so little space. May sound a bit much, but I love it! If you do a lot of "file-work" type decoration, other detailed work, even just general knifemaking, you might want to have a look at this cool little musti-position vise. The concept and construction are top rate, I've seen it and hope to get one, once I get ahead a little: http://www.redehand.com/ http://www.facebook.com/redehand http://www.redehand.com/main.sc __________________ http://www.srjknives.com NRA Endowment Member Knifemakers' Guild Member since 1971 "May you live all the days of your life." - Jonathan Swift Last edited by Steve; 11-18-2013 at 09:31 PM. |
