Repliy to helpful post... Thanks!
Hi Folks,
I had to change my login from Lazywayze to Bladewayze, as my original message was moved to the newbies arena. No problem with that! Just wanted to thank the guy who answered my post earlier, but as I can't post back on that original forum, I hope he sees this.
Whilst I can't yet 'make' a knife, that Forumites would call a 'knife', I have made a shoemaker's, leather-cutting knife that I ground down from an old, machine-hacksaw blade. I guess that is still the sharpest knife in my house at the moment, and I use it daily in the woodwork shop, for cutting leather and other upholstery materials. However the thing is hardly an object of beauty. Still... It cuts like whistle! Having seen some of the beautiful work on this site, I have something to learn... and how! But I have plety of time, and what is a hobby for, if it doesn't pleasantly pass time?
Will report back as often as possible.
Take care folks and...
