Melted Foil on Knife
I just HT some cpm154 using 2200 foil. When I removed the blade from the pouch some of the foil stuck on the knife! It had to ground off. What do ya think is up?

You didn't give us much info to go on but I would suspect that possibly the foil pack got too close to an element and overheated.
Have you used foil from the same roll previously with no problems? Did the foil harden normally after cooling? If not, then the problem may be the foil but it's doubtful. If it hardened normally or if you have used foil from the same roll before with no problems then probably for some reason it was overheated. I would definitely H/T the blade again in any case.
