Small Chef's Knife

ok, so i dont condone the use of unknown steels but after i etched this steel and saw the cool pattern I figured i should do something with it... its a bimetal blade from a old reciprocating metal chop saw. I havent tested the blade yet other than with a file and seems good but we'll see.

walnut burl scales and ss pins finish her out..

thanks fer looking!

Very interesting, let us know how it performs. Always thought about fooling around with a bimetal just for grins, but never got to it. Is it totally ground or did you forge it to shape then finish grind.?
