Old, Old knife pictures
Because of eye surgery I can't work in the shop till some time in March 2013 , I'm going to start posting some old pictures . Most of the pictures were before I got a dig camera , so most of the pictures not so great.
This knife I made in 1992 for a friend , and his design . While fishing in Canada he turned his conoe over and this knife was in his tackle box and laid in the bottom of a lake (( I think some where around Balmertown ,Ontario )) for a year . . He was up in Canada the next year and saw the tackle box on the bottom of the lake and dove in and got it , all I had to do was make a new sheath.

This was my model #34C in my old book of dwgs and I made hundreds of them mostly with Pakawood handles and no bolsters and sold most of them at work. This was made in 1992 .

Well , I can go back to making knives Saturday . Doc said that I have another problem in my right eye and wants to wait 4 months before he does the other eye .
I may have to have the right eye operated in the back inside of it, and don't know if I'll go for that . And Cataract opreation may make the problem worse. I can see fairly good with it for now.
GOOD NEWS is left eye is doing great.
