Introduction...Howdy!

Hello all...my name is Greg.I have been a very amateur knife builder for a bout 5-7 years,Ive only made about 4 knives.but I'm a machinist by trade so its really not the lack of skill that prevents me(kids, job)Alas I don't have any Pictures of the work Ive done in the Past, all of my knives have been sold, given away or stolen.Well I want o get back to making, because I truly enjoy Knives. Thanks for hosting this site and If I ask a really dumb question...They always get less dumb as time goes on...or at least I hope they will. Thanks
(G)

Welcome Greg
Good crowd here.
Like to extend you an invite to check out the Georgia Custom Knifemaker's Guild. We have a lot of members in and around Antlanta. We have our winter meeting scheduled for the 29th in Statesboro at the Twin Blades Knife Shop. Long drive but well worth the trip.
We have a forum further down the page and a website www.georgiaknifemakersguild.com
Hope you'll check us out, not meet a better more knowledgable bunch to network with and get to know.

Great to have you join, Greg. Knifemaking would not be the same for me without this group of fine people. I've learned more in the past year "hanging out" here than I have in the previous two trying to teach myself. It's very worthwhile.
