Post Oven Tempering At Less Than 700F.

Question: Where can I buy a small electric heat treat furnace capable of 600F? All I need is something that will handle a flat spring that is 1/2" x 1/8" x 4". I am working with C1080 carbon steel, so time is not a factor--only the 600F temperature. And going above 700F is of no interest, and adds no value to me. Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Jim

the advice I have read before is to get an oven that is above your upper limit use.

Sometimes the ovens get a bit unstable at max temp. so...the 700 sounds about right to me.
what's 100 d amognst friends.

I have two small old toaster ovens than are 110volts and get well above 600 degrees I lined them with k-wool and they work great you can find them at yard sales and at thrift sales. I put a tray inside to even the heat and a themal coupler to read temps
