forced air burners

For all the argument between forced air and atmospheric, there seems to be a real lack of forced ar burner designs. While I'm not the kind of guy would expect everything pre planned for him, I'd rather a burner than a pipe bomb, so I'm basically looking for plans I can follow that will add a layer of proection between a burner and a bomb. Are there any pln out there other than the "realy simple burner" I've seen? Can anyone tell me what I sould be looking for, or what the major considerations are? And I'm pretty much dead set on forced air, its what I used when I learned how to make knives, so I would like a similar home setup.
