Some More Recent Knives

I've been busy making knives and haven't posted a photo since fall 2015. I have been doing mostly kitchen knives.

This knife is AEB-L and features a through tang handle of 304, ebony and stabilized Amboyna burl with red spacers for color accent.

This little fellow is a 140mm blade honesuki with African Blackwood and Mexican Cocobolo. Another through tang with a stainless steel machine screw going from the tang into the stainless butt.

This is a 150mm petty knife in AEB-L. The handle is made from scraps of AEB-L, some gemstone composite and stabilized spalted maple burl. Pinned with a 1/8" 416 stainless pin.

This knife is another petty in AEB-L. The single-pin hidden tang handle is made from ebony and padauk. Made for a lady in Ontario that loves the Philadelphia Flyers.

Another custom from CPM154 for a lady that had her kitchen remodeled and the Acrylester amethyst scales fit the bill.

Sorry for being absent.

I have some new friends that have joined this forum and would like to wish them well.

Dan

I like your choices of color/texture blends for the handles and, of course, I favor the single pin handles ...
