I doubt anyone has done that on Andy's oven but there's no reason it could not be done. Paragon added that feature to my oven at the time I bought it for $150 extra. You should be able to add it to Andy's oven for that much or even less. All there is to it is a gas metering device with a solenoid in it. On mine, the solenoid is attached to the digital controler so that when the controller turns on the heat the gas is also turned on. If you chose to, you could simply turn on the solenoid and leave it on - simpler to wire up but would use a little more argon probably.
All you need to get the argon into the heat chamber is a small hole at the back of the oven, just insert the gas line in the hole .... |
