Rockwell Hardness Testing
Old member here but could not find my password so I started over with a new member ID and password.
I was searching Hardness Testing and found this old thread: http://www.knifenetwork.com/forum/sh...ardness+tester Anyway I recently obtained a Wilson Rockwell Hardness Tester and thought I would post a few photos. I am setting it up now and have ordered some new diamond penetrators so it will be a few days before I begin testing blades. 200 pounds of good old American Iron! Photos distorted a bit due to the wide angle lens. A 12 inch scale leaning against the tester: It is an oldie, in great condition, dates to World War II by the War Department Tag. Came with plenty of tooling Even a can of the very rare Eel Skid! |
