New folder book

Just finished reading Don Robinson's book 'My Way'. I would recomend it to anyone interested in Linerlock(r) folders. The text is clear and easy to understand and is well illustrated.
It will change a couple of steps in the way I make mine.

Doug

You can contact Don through his web site . He doesn't have the book listed yet but you can drop him an email and he will take care of you.

I too have recently finished his book and can verify that it is a good read. Don expresses his ideas clearly. His methods are a little different than I have seen before. It definitely gave me some ideas to try out.

Ditto.

Photos and expalantions are clear and concise.

As he states in the preface, Don has written this booklet to be geared more to the machinist, toolmaker, or experinced folder maker (with lots of cool tools ). However you don't need to have the surface grinder, mill, magnetic chuck, etc as referenced in Don's book in order to pick up some good new habits, and learn some innovative ways of accurately nailing down the action in a Walker liner lock folder.

Looking forward to when Don can come out with the full fledged book which covers foldermaking from "soup to nuts."
