tips and save money

Well I have started so I had better keep going
First a few tips (reflection go to charity shop or second hand shop and buy Black Velvet Curtains.
Or a long black velvet skirt you don?t have to wear it. Cut a hole in the material big enough to get the lens through.
Get two people to hold it up and hide behind and bingo you will have a reflection free picture I used this to photograph jewelry.
Second Drawing film we call it MYLAR it is a bit pricey but build a frame cover it with Mylar and fire your flash though it .if you make it like a tunnel or witches hat you get better results but play with shapes s like I said it doesn?t have to be sharp.
Last this one was taught to me by one of the greatest photographers I was at Aeronautical College in Chelsea London and to supplement my income I worked for this guy. I wonder off sorry.
Focus your camera compose the shot now stop down as far as the lens will go F11 or so.
Now set shutter to bulb open shutter with cable release and take your flash gun and fire open flash were you want light. Don?t fire directly at knife or you may get reflection or flare.
Do it quickly (so plan ahead) then close the shutter.
Anyone confused with all this tecno talk get in touch and I will try and help.
Regards
Alan.

I shall try and get a picture on to the vote forum tonight But I have different ideas to some of you so don?t laugh.
