Spear Point Bowie

Ah ha. I think I found the right buttons. This is a spear point Bowie I just finished. I engraved the guard and ferrule. So far I have seen better scratching come out of a dogs mouth but I am getting a bit better.

For some people, humility is a virtue. For others, humility is not warranted. Jerry, you are the latter. You have no need to be humble about your talents, whether it be knifemaking or engraving. Both are excellent.

That's awesome!

I had a chance to watch the crowd's reaction to the Camillus Fisk Bowie over at SHOT this past weekend and everyone loved it ... that may be one of the highest quality production pieces on the market today. Just excellent!

That's a superb-looking Bowie. It looks like it could have come from the Wostenholm workshop 140 years ago, and I mean that as a compliment. It looks more subtle though with the Fisk stamp than a big ugly IXL

Jerry, if you can show us the dog's teeth gravers I'll believe it's bad engraving, otherwise please just take the credit for something that looks good!

Roger

By the way, that is a wonderful looking knife.
