This a test....
This is a test to see if I can post pics..
This is an Afgani knife made from a German WW1 blade, and artillary shell handle...kinda like a primitive switch blade. Here goes....... I hoped that worked.. |

Wow, huge picture alert. They are so big it is hard to really see all about the knife!

I want that knife to look so good you just have to pick it up, feel so good in your hand you can't wait to try it, and once you use it, you never want to put it down ! If I capture those three factors in each knife I build, I am assured the knife will become a piece that is used and treasured by its owner! C Craft |

Much better. And a very clever knife too. Just goes to show, you could pass all the laws you want to pass but if someone wants a weapon they will get a weapon. I have seen guns, even full auto guns, made from old scrap with the same type of ingenuity ....

That is pretty cool man I had a similar knife when I was a kid. Are you sure it's not an original piece? I have seen quite a few pictures if these type of knives.
A quick google search shows that its most likely a German ww2 paratrooper dagger. __________________ J, Saccucci Knives, JSK Last edited by metal99; 03-08-2013 at 05:13 PM. |

I knife is not mine, but belongs to the german guy that makes my sheaths.
I have no idea if its original piece, just going by what he told me.. Ill ask him more about it. |

I have one that is either very similar, or exactly like it. I haven't seen it in years. Packed away somewhere.

I did some poking about. They are called Paratrooper knives and were manufactured both before and after WWII but were never issued to German troops. Here is a quote.
Quote:
They were produced In England in the 60's. The stamps on the blade indicates it was probably a production, and here is a pic of one of the Fancy ones. Interesting stuff. |
