A Bowie for the Arkansas Show
Since Arkansas is definitely Bowie country, I always like to bring different styles of Bowies to the show. In keeping with the southern tradition, I gave this one a d-guard. The blade & guard are from a 240 layer Damascus. The handle is a rosewood burl w/416 furniture. For whatever reason, rosewood burl seems to be hard to come by. This is the first piece of it that I have had for several years.
Let me know what you think. Gary __________________ Gary ABS,CKCA, ABKA,KGA |

All the best, Bruce. |

Gary looks awesome and I really love that burl. That D-guard and handle look nice and large for a big hand. I look forward to seeing it at the show. See you then.

Thanks, everyone. I don't do many d-guard Bowies but occasionally they're kind of fun to make.
