4 years in the making - customer designed dagger
About to finish this one up for a good customer of ours. I just need a Kydex sheath for it and it also needs to be sharpened.
This customer first approached me to make this knife for him 4 years ago. Phillip and I have made several of this guy's designs in the past. This one was more of a challenge so it took him a while to convince me to make it for him. 7-1/4" blade length 12-1/4" overall .220" 154CM steel 416 SS guard - 3/4" X 1-1/16" X 2-1/2" Black Canvas Micarta handle w/ stainless bolts Mortised tang construction __________________ Barry Jones Knives |

That looks nasty in a good kind of way. Uh, ya know.... I mean like menacing, not like crappy. This isn't working out like I meant is it?
I'll start again: That is a cool design; I like the double tanto dagger profile and your execution looks fantastic. If the customer isn't happy we can find it a home in Iredell County. Robb |

Holy Crap! that thing looks cool. I would agree that would be very challenging to make but looks like you pulled it off.

I sent this knife off to my good friend, David Brown so he could make a nice Kydex sheath for it. I got it back just prior to the Blade Show. Today I added the finishing touches to the piece. It's now ready to go to it's owner.
My client requested small grooves on the edges of the handle. He doesn't want to lose his grip on this beast. I also sharpened the serrations as well as the regular edges. The serrations are more like scallops. One continuous edge that doesn't get caught on anything. It just glides right thru :toxdance: __________________ Barry Jones Knives |

That is going to be one lucky customer. The serrations look great and adds a sweet touch. Very nice.

Like I said before, if for some reason he changes his mind that knife can find a home rather easily.
