Praying for the Lord's peace for you all-sure seems a good dose would be nice. Glad they've been keeping tabs on you and caught this stuff early. Take care, Ed.

The Surgeon that I visited with didn't seem too concerned. He basically told me that I could do it at my leisure. I told him I wanted to get "on top of it" as soon as possible....May 29th was the first opening he could do it.
I'm glad that they can do it orthoscopically this time.....that way I only have to be in the hospital overnight, and about a week of recovery. Last time, when they pried my ribs apart, they pulled one rib away from the breastbone, and another away from my backbone.....it took 8+ weeks to recover from that fiasco!

We're praying/believing that it's gona be just like last time....nothing to worry about.

Good for you Ed. Probably not a bad idea to get a jump on things, just because. Hope this doesn't weigh too heavily on you folks, in the mean time.

Thoughts and prayers, Craig

Tomorrow starts the "big week"......I go in a 6am in the morning for the lung biopsy. They say that I should only have to stay overnight in the hospital. Then on Thursday I'm scheduled for an upper endoscopy (where the shove the camera down your throat and into your stomach). And somewhere amoungst all of that, I've got to make a trip to the dentist. (broke a tooth in half on Friday evening, and with the holiday, no way to get to a dentist)

I'm ready for them to "fix" me! I've not had a pain free day since mid April.....my guts constantly hurt, and have a constant burning pain throughout my chest. I've also gotten "skinny"....when this all started I was at 230lbs......this morning I stepped on the scale and am down to 212lbs! I've not been that light since I was in Basic Training many moons ago....I've run out of holes in my belt, and my pants look like a clown should be wearing them.

My next Doc visit is scheduled for 8 June....which I when we should be getting all the test results back. Guess while everyone is in "Hotlanta", I'll be in the Doctor's Office. I'll do my best to keep this thread updated, and hopefully in a while we can forget it ever happened!

Thanks to everyone for your prayers and well wishes! I just wanna get back to "normal" again, and be able to function like I should.
