Kitchen knife
Hi.
I just finished off this knife today..a kitchen knife for my wife. Forged from a 1 inch diameter 52100 alloy steel. Giraffe bone scales with red spacers, raised peened copper rivets, tapered tang and spine. Its seems like its been a long time since I made a tapered full tang....now I know why!! __________________ Kevin Davey Last edited by Coutel; 11-14-2004 at 08:47 PM. |

Kevin, that looks mighty good! And the copper was a great touch for a kitchen knife.

Kevin:
That is one FINE knife, you sure know how to rack up the points with the Misses! How did you like working the girraffe bone? Also how did you go about staining it? God Bless Mike __________________ "I cherish the Hammer of Thor, but I praise the hand of God" |

Coutel, Man. VERY SLICEY. No doubt a very keen slicer. I have come to respect most the knife that slices cleanly.

That is the "pointy-est" kitchen knife I've seen in a while. Those vegetables look scared ! And for good reason. Nice work. Jason.
