Dust control?
CAN anybody recommend a dust collection system reasonably priced?Everything im finding is about 400 bucks.
IM working in half of a two car garage.Im using a shop vac rigged up to my grinder and its ok but when i sand homegrown micarta or anything non metal the dust is unreal. Shanks alot. __________________ Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, one man sharpens another. Check out my website. www.crystalcreekknives.com |

Look at your Grizzly catalog. They list several models of very nice dust collection systems for $150 and $250. I would recommend using it for your grinder only and not trying to extend hoses all over the place to buffers and other machines. I did that originally and wasn't pleased with the results.
Also, you should put the dust collector outside the wall of the garage if possible because all collection systems use a porous cloth bag and the bag will let the finer dust out so you'll breathe it anyway ........ |
