Rocky Mountain "Ivory" and Iron
Forged 5160.
Full heat treatment according to the methods I learned from Ed Fowler and the Willow Bow Gang. Elk Handle with exterior smoothed off to reveal "Ivory" inside! Wrought Iron fittings with blued steel finial. Full take-down configuration. Last edited by Karl B. Andersen; 04-07-2006 at 08:02 AM. |

I definately see Ed in that one! I can say his knives are using knives! Dont know if i could make the same thing over and over though. I dont do that now. I make a pattern if im cuttint a peice of lawnmower blade and throw the pattern away. I make everything different. Ed has his cool philosophy though. I like his writing.
