New Folder Book!

I just got my copy of Art & Design in Modern Folding Knives! This is truly the finest book ever printed on folding knives. Plus the added small technical info from each maker in a tutorial of something they do special. It makes it a fantastic text book also. All full color, printed on heavy paper, this is really a wonderful book. All at the price of only $65!!! It will be available at Barnes & Noble and amazon.com soon. Here is the cover and some pages from it. Each featured artist has 8 pages.

Example of one artists section.

2 pages from my section.

Steve Lindsay's engraving section.

This looks wonderful! Can't wait to get my hands on a copy.

Custom folders getting some first class recognition...how cool is that!

I'll be calling Barnes and Noble tomorrow to reserve my copy.

John Lewis Jensen has updated his website with a reference to this book.

"This knife was commissioned specifically for inclusion in a very special forthcoming book entitled "Art and Design in Modern Custom Folding Knives", by Dr. David Darom to be available for $60, (please refer to the Moon Storm page for further detailed information on this knife as well as the book) Moon Storm also features the debut of my own Damascus."

I have been told there will be 150 copies available in the upcoming ECCKS show in NYC 3/07-09. More info will be offered there, for sure.
