I have just finished of the second knife, which is 100% designed by me. If you are interested in the knife I can always send you more pictures if you like.
[Blade] 115 mm long blade made out of o-1 tool steel, with a 25 mm hollow grind. The blade is sharpened for general purpose use. I have designed the blade, but the maker is Chris Bowles, USA.
[Handle] 105 mm long handle made out of walnut and nickel silver, the pins are also nickel silver. The handle is polished to grid 1000 and the bolster grid 1500. The walnut is treated with oil and wax to withstand water. The wood has an almost 3D effect depending on the angle of the light (it doesn?t show well in the picture). The walnut scales are perfectly book matched, I have personally hand picked these on a knife show.
The metal in the tang is drilled to make this a light weight knife. The handle is thin, only 11 mm over the back of the knife. I chose to make the handle that thin to really keep the weight of the knife down.
[Sheath] Fully tanned leather that is wet molded around the knife. The sheath of course hand stitched, water resistant and polished to a very high gloss.
[Price] $200 + shipping (PayPal 4%)
