If you want most of the bark to remain on the stag when u shape your guards, you can put a stack of spacers to shape your guard to. It really dresses up the knife as well.

ray asked me last week in chat to post pics so I was talking to him. That is just plain ole whitetail antler, not stag. Hopefully better knives and pics soon to come.

I figured. I was just being a smart Alec as usual. I would honestly call whitetail horn stag too though.
