A weeks work or more......
Because of a dwindling supply of shear steel these 3 will be the largest ones you'll be seeing unless I happen to find another shear steel saw blade. All 3 blades are around 4 1/4", each piece is 8 1/2" overall. All fittings are wrought iron. The top two knives have Euro crowns from the same animal, bottom knife is handled with deer leg bone. Leather dye was used for the coloring. Sorry about the toe in the close up but it could be worse.......

Shear Steel Source
Hi Ray, I was talking with a woman at a flea market this weekend. She buys and sells a lot of old saw blades. I told her about the shear steel knives you make and she was very interested. I explained that the shear steel saw blades are probably quite rare and the only way to identify them was to polish and etch. But she thought it might be possible that she gets them from time to time. I gave her your name, I hope you don't mind. Maybe she can be helpful.
