As he states in the preface, Don has written this booklet to be geared more to the machinist, toolmaker, or experinced folder maker (with lots of cool tools
). However you don't need to have the surface grinder, mill, magnetic chuck, etc as referenced in Don's book in order to pick up some good new habits, and learn some innovative ways of accurately nailing down the action in a Walker liner lock folder.
Looking forward to when Don can come out with the full fledged book which covers foldermaking from "soup to nuts."
