George Thats really what i was thinking of the shaft I should have specifyed that. what I Really was asking is what size of pulleys should i be using on the lay shaft and motor to get the shaft to be turning 1750 with my 3250 motor The way I am building is with a 3 wheel set up one as the drive wheel probley the 4" wheel rob frink sells. and for the tracking wheel the 2 inch one frink sells for tracking. a 10 inch contact wheel A large castor wheel untill I can afford a real one. So tell me if a am wrong I should use a pully twice as big as the one on the motor on the shaft and i will have the corect speed right?
