Couple of things you should be informed about:

First, this is primarily a forum for knife MAKERS, not buyers. Yes, there are some dealers here and knives do get bought, but that's not really the strongest opportunity offered by this forum. If you have pictures and specific questions, I'm sure folks here will try to help. But Ebay or other entities are really the place to generate sales.

Second, we get more than our share of scam artists who are trying to sell knives they really don't have. When someone says they know nothing about the value of a bunch of knives they need to sell, it begins to sound a bit like another "story". I'm not accusing you of anything; just saying that it makes people wary about getting involved.

Certain knives are highly collectible - Randalls for example - and are pretty easy to sell. Same goes for certain individual makers. Others - like Camillus - may be great knives but are only worth what a user (versus collector) will pay.

We all hope the best for your father's health and hope that you do well in selling the knife collection.
