- First began making knives in 1977, on a farm in Illinois. Behind the shop ran a creek, Indian Creek, I named my knife company after this creek. Indian Creek Knife Works.

- I live in the Canelo Hills area of southern Arizona, under the shadow of the Huachuca Mountains.

- Fishing, Kayaking, Hiking and Camping are favorites. Also an avid shooter, and hunter.
