An honest reviewer who is also a collector, Anthony Lombardo began his knife education as a manager of a sporting goods store while in high school and then after college as an on-the-road salesman for a "well known" cutlery manufacturer.

Subsequent positions in the cutlery world from marketing to copywriting have opened his eyes to the way the industry operates.  His features and reviews have been published in Tactical Knives, Petersen's Combat Knives, Blade, and Krause's Knives Annuals.  He loves all well-made knives, but is particularly fond of the forged works of ABS bladesmiths.  In addition to his knife writing hobby, a "real" corporate job, and a new family, Anthony is an avid outdoorsman and shooter and plays Tactical Ted on free weekends as an IDPA Master rated handgunner at a club in the Southeast. 

Owner of AtlantaVirtual.com, Alex has been very instrumental in the development of the Knife Network project. While a lifetime knife enthusiast, Alex's KNet editorial contributions will mainly serve the interests and usability issues needed by the knife industry internet user.

Educated in Chemistry and Physics at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, Alex has a unique perspective to offer. Beyond his educational background, his first-hand experience in running a successful online internet firm since 1997 also gives him a viewpoint that few others have, relative to the internet as both a community tool and marketing opportunity.
