Well...I have one done for Boise!!

Finally got my first knife actually finished for the Boise show. Hopefully there will be more.

I forged this one a few weeks back and got it wrapped up last night.

I've always liked green canvas micarta and wanted to do a simple hunter with this material.

Specs:

Forged from 1080 steel
.150" thick at the ricasso
8" overall, 3 3/4" blade
Tapered tang
Green canvas micarta scales
Mosaic front pin
German silver center pins and lanyard tube

Looking good Pal!

Now get in the shop and get the rest done! I hope to have all the sheaths done over the weekend, and then maybe I can get a few cord wrapped EBKs finished up and take them too.

Looks good John. How many do you plan on taking to the show?

Nice hunter John. What the other guys said. Don't show it around, or you'll go empty handed to Boise. I like how your quench line reads on both sides of the blade.

Take care, Craig

Nice work John! I have enjoyed looking at the pics of your work the short time I have been hangin around this forum outfit. I really like your quenching lines. German silver the same as nickel silver?
