Busse SF Natural Outlaw (Digi Pic !!)
A new camera doesn't make a professional photographer, but this new digi-cam sure is a quantum improvement over my old scanner
I'm getting quite a few requests for the EZELap holder on my bigger sheaths (the SFNO is just over 13" OAL). They fit well, and make a decent addition for a quick field touch-up. Looks good all around, Mike. Are those rods tapered or do they just fit snugly? Like that background, too - would've been hard to do *that* on the old scanner! - Jim

Thanks guys, the new camera also is good at revealing flaws
Jim, no the EZELap rods aren't tapered; I fit the leather to the rod and sew it to the front of the sheath while everything is still a little damp. I leave the rod in while it dries, and voila, nice tight fit In fact, the bottom of the rod being uncovered makes it easier to draw, and it's necessary to take the knife out before removing the rod to prevent scratching the sheath -- it has to be pulled straight out.
