champion cutlery

hey guys maybe you can help identify this old knife. it is signed j champion & the champion cutlery logo is on the sheath it consists of two horseshoes opposed in a diamond with champion on top & cutlery on the bottom . the knife is made with a handle material that is i'm pretty sure laminated wood . fitted with brass pins . there is no guard as it is integral with the grip with a projection to keep the hand from sliding down. the blade has a sweep similar to what a persian style does. ser # is 0253
i would post a pic but am presently out of batteries for my camera. thanks tom

I cannot take a picture for squat. Still learning, but the scanner, you just throw the knife up on the screen and the machine does all the work. Great for close-ups of makers marks. Then I take it to an old photo draw program and mess with it a little. They can be had for free sometimes from friends and relatives.

You can even get a little artsy with it. Here is a pic I did for the photo contest in the photo forum here.

Edit to say a "scan" I did for the photo conest
