Coop-ified
I already posted this picture, but I thought it might be interesting to compare the before (as I made it) to after Coop's suggestions (I added). The man knows where of he speaks!
Before: After (I also corrected the color to match the real one): Steve |

Greatly improved. However, I'm one that would have left the second exposure out of that shot. You could of had a great composition with just the flies and reel. The second exposure really didn't show any additional information on the knife. It's nice to practice but that knife can hold it's own as is. Good shooting and nice looking blade.

You can't go wrong with Terrill's eye either. Good points. Regardless, Steve and I talked and I showed him a rough reworked pic of this with closer and tighter cropping and a little change of scenery. He took it over from there, reworked it his way, and, like Terrill said, it's greatly improved.
Now I'm impressed how you matched the CKD grey background and blended in that shadow. You think I didn't notice that? ####! Steve's got talent. Coop |

Nice job, especially adjusting the handle color. Coop is a good one to learn from. His explanation of things is good. You can also learn by simply looking at his albums and studying the pics closely. Always very nice, professional looking shots.
