I think it's a brilliant idea to allow a user to come up with his own blade shape if he so desires.

If I was ever curious about grinding my own blades, this is the biggest motivation to do plunge in.

dont grind down your blade man just tough it out... thats what bandages and polisporn are for... just think... if you dont cut yourself with it you may never learn proper technique... besides... even during the most rigorous training sessions... the odds of you cutting yourself are slim... unless you practise throwing techniques... dont ruin a perfectly good knife just to get better using it... get better and keep it sharp...

These come from the factory with no edges. But since the steel is left soft tempered, you can regrind the blade profile to whatever shape you like, and have it heat treated again for use.
