engraved colt cylinder

Here is a picture of the colt cylinder i am working on ... There will be 2 more pictures taken throu the micro scope so you can see how i cut my back ground and how i do my shading....

How'd you take the shot through the microscope? Just put the lens up to the eyepiece and shoot?

Hi Tim .. Yes that is how i did it and for the close up i zoomedin useing the micro scope zoom ...
