Wire Inlay

[posted for Fred Carter]

The discussion on wire inlay reminded me of this photo I took at the Victoria and Albert Museum this year and thought it may be of interest. It is very old work, to be sure, but great work. It also emphasizes the value of having a digital camera along when one visits a museum.

Fred

Thanks Fred and Don,
There's a lot to learn by observing the work of the old masters. Shows us how far we have to go----humbling--isn't it?

It's good to know Dr Carter is keeping an eye on us here

Anyone visiting London should set aside a day, or at least half to visit the Victoria & Albert Museum. London's museums deserve a week, preferably two

Roger,
It's on my list as well as the Tower of London. So much to do--so little time!
