Another of my Green Canyon hunters
Just finished one of my Green Canyon hunters for an order.
This might be the most knives I've ever got done in so short a time frame. This one had ironwood that was a little plain so I dressed it up with a little texturing. 1084 steel 8 1/4" overall, 3 5/8" blade, .120" thick Ironwood scales Nickel silver pins __________________ John Doyle You have nothing to fear but fear itself...........and bears. |

That's not "green"! But it is pretty darn sexy! When can a "hack" knifemaker like me come for some carving/texturing lessons?

You guys crack me up.
Hard to teach a lesson to the teacher! Ed you taught both of us in the fact that I remember you posting some textured blades. Then Bing started then I saw it and thought, "I'm gonna try that too." Bing- this is some of that straight grained ironwood you sent me a while back that you were going to throw in the woodstove. Thanks for the kind words though guys. __________________ John Doyle You have nothing to fear but fear itself...........and bears. |

Me too!
Count me in too, John, when you hold your next texturing class .
Very clean and sleek, and the sheath is great to boot! Dana |
