SS-2.0 Questions

Hi, assembled my first SS2 and being that this is my first build, and learning as I go, I have a couple of questions, shocker huh ?

I have 3 kits, the first one I assembled I went straight to an auto build which probably wasn't the best idea but....

1st problem, seem to have a lot of side to side wobble on the blade which I think is a result of the other issues, ie it's all not "closing" up properly.

2nd problem, button is kinda sticky, for want of a better description, it works ok, doesn't always lock closed but doesn't feel smooth, not sure if thats normal or not ?

The nylon washer, the bigger one, has a burr on the edge of the cutout, not sure whats causing it but it's clearly getting jammed on something, any thoughts on that ?

The spring used was .375 (3/8) Coil Springs - (MAXX Torque)

I will assemble a non-assisted version this morning and see if I get a different result for reference but any tips, hints or guidance would be greatly appreciated !

Thanks
tony

Well I can answer my own questions now !

It all came down to the nylon washer, it's not a burr you idiot, it's the locating nub !

Once I had that minor detail penetrate the haze, it all fell into place and all 3 are smooth, tight and fully functional, what a neat little piece.

Scales are a bit tricky as they get quite thin, was going to use some kirinite on one of them but by the time I'd sanded it down I didn't like the look, can you buff that back to shiny ?

Can you post a picture of what you're referring to and we'll give it a look.
