not sure if this is a kit...

I see people posting fixed blade builds so what the heck...
This is a blank I got from Premium Knife Supplies, 440c. I reprofiled it more to my liking and gave it a satin finish. Birdseye maple scales applied over thin cherry liners, cherry and ebony accent, stainless pins. Comments and criticism always appreciated.

Thanks!
Michael

Beautiful work Michael.....

The Cherry liners are great looking (so is the rest of the knife). Fine Woodworking meets knifemaking........ cool!

Thanks guys!
I'm also a woodworking hobbyist and Im one of those people who never throws away off-cuts. So I've got a few boxes of scraps to pick from for bolsters and accents. I had wanted to try thin wood liners and I think it worked out well. This knife was made for a roundtable in another forum and the recipient seemed very pleased with it.
