Duct work/Exhaust fan

I'm finally getting ready to move into a shop. I still run a coal burning forge, and have some questions about exhaust systems. The main problem that I'm running into is that I cannot find a 4-6 inch exhaust fan that can handle the temperatures that are produced. I was going to place the fan close to end of duct work approx 4 feet from opening above the forge, canopy approx 24-36 inche's above fire pit. Does anyone have any tips that I may be able to use in order to make this happen. I do plan on getting a gas forge in the future, but wanted to start off by using coal.

Try a venturi set up.

My brother and I setup his hood over what used to be his coke forge (coke burns better than coal) with two side pipes with 6" fans blowing into the hood pipe over the forge. It caused the hood to pull the heat from the forge without going through a fan. We are both sheetmetal mechanics and doing blow pipe wasn't a problem for us. Also we made the hood pipe square and so it was easier to hook up the round 6" pipe. Here is something similar to what we used and you might want to contact the company and see if they have fans that can handle the high heat above a forge.

I am sorry I have no idea how Walmart stole my link.

Congratulations on moving to the store! In your work, the issue of ventilation must necessarily be resolved. You have many different particles of dust, steam, and gases in the air. This can be hazardous to your health. It is important for you not only to ensure good ventilation but also to monitor its condition. My husband told me that it was almost impossible to be in one of the warehouses of their company due to a large amount of dust. And the ventilation equipment seems to be new. Then they started looking for a company that would tackle this problem. Somehow they managed to find https://niftyductcleaning.com.au/car...pair-tasmania/ and solve this issue. It turned out that due to the amount of dust in the room, the ventilation equipment simply could not cope. He needed cleaning. Therefore, I advise you to clean all systems at least once a year.
