Knife Shop for Sale
I RECEIVED THIS EMAIL FROM HOWARD HILL, KNIFEMAKER ON 11 AUG 2004:
Hello Steve I wonder if you could pass along to the knifemakers, and would be knifemakers on your forum that my knife shop is for sale. As a retired Tool and Die Maker I have a complete machine shop, plus all the things to make knives - and many other components As far as the tools for knifemaking, I have everything one could want or need. Being a tool and die maker, building tools and dies for 35 years in a machine shop, (Retired from AT&T), I have made lots of them myself. You name the tools and I have them. I have high speed endmills (every size carbide end mill from 1/16 up to 3/4 diameter). Ball nose endmills in carbide. My shop is complete. I do not have a pantograph. I built a tool to do the same thing. Whoever should buy the shop will need a truck with 12-14 foot bed on it. Everything goes. Not selling anything separately. $20,000.00 Some parts of my shop are pictured on my website below: Best regards, Howard Hill 111 Mission Lane Polson MT 59860 Phone 1-406-883-3405 Email: knifeman@bigsky.net www.persuaderknives.com Give Howard a call, or shoot him and email, for further information. __________________ http://www.srjknives.com NRA Endowment Member Knifemakers' Guild Member since 1971 "May you live all the days of your life." - Jonathan Swift |

Lots of stamp licking! In early Utah history a church was built by mailing a lot of the bricks to the town, from Salt Lake City, I think. That was probably at abouit 1 cent per brick. How much would it cost to mail a knife/machine shop to Utah, or Hawaii? Hmmm......

Just talked with Howard and for his shop equipment, which has everything a new knifemaker needs, he is willing to lower the price somewhat. Call him and discuss it. Wanted $20,000, but, "Will talk!" Soe nice equipment, go here to look at the list:

Out of curiosity, I visited his website. Did anyone else notice how neat, clean, and well lit his shop is? Wow! He has some very pretty knives posted as well.
